Brett P. Lent, DDS, MS

Brett Lent, DDS, MS, is a general dentist at First Impression Dental in Fresno, California. He specializes in providing high-quality care to treat patients of all ages using state-of-the-art technology. He’s at the forefront of bringing new dental technology to patients, including Solea® dental laser for anesthetic-free dentistry, same-day crowns, digital radiography, and dental photography.

Dr. Lent earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He then worked as a dental research assistant at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital, focusing on chewing efficiency for denture wearers and implant patients. 

He later earned both his master’s degree in oral biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was one of three in his class to receive the “Excellence in Restorative Dentistry” award. 

Dedicated to lifelong learning and offering the latest dental technology to his patients, Dr. Lent commits over 100 hours annually to continued education. He’s an active member of the Faculty Club at Spear Dental Education, a prestigious interdisciplinary group of practitioners focused on comprehensive treatment planning to achieve optimal results, and received training at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona.

When not treating patients, Dr. Lent enjoys spending time with his children, Parker and Katelynn. He also enjoys golfing, traveling, skiing, and snorkeling. Fun Fact: Dr. Lent is a fabulous cook!

Kristine — Office Manager

Kristine “Kris” has been in the dental field since 1988; with over 30 years of experience, she has grown in her knowledge of dentistry exponentially. Kris has served patients in all aspects of dental care from scheduling appointments and chairside assisting to office management. She loves creating long lasting relationships with patients and making sure all their needs are met. Kris has three children and one grandson whom she loves to spend time with whenever possible. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Fun fact: Kris is originally from Minnesota and has been a crazy Vikings fan her entire life.

Cody — RDAEF

Cody was born and raised in Sanger and started working with her mom for a dentist there at the age of 17. After graduating from high school she decided to pursue a full time career in dentistry and went on to get her RDA. She furthered her education and was part of the second graduating class in the state to earn their RDAEF (extended functions). This extra education allows Cody to do a plethora of extra duties which helps Dr. Lent provide an even better chair side experience for his patients. Cody has also developed a deep passion for sleep apnea and has done many continuing education courses on the subject.

In her spare time Cody loves to travel. Some of her favorite recent trips have been to Ireland, Iceland, and Amsterdam. Cody also enjoys spending time with her daughter, Alyssa as well as her 2 dogs Shooter and Bentley. We feel so fortunate to have Cody on our team. She’s extremely knowledgeable and compassionate along with having a great sense of humor. A combination our patients and team absolutely love!

Fun fact: Cody loves to watch K dramas and listen to K Pop.

Amanda-RDH, AOMT-C

Amanda has been a dental hygienist since 2014. She is valley raised and went to dental hygiene school locally. Amanda takes pride in her work and enjoys getting to know her patients. She loves helping patients achieve the healthy smile they deserve. In 2022 Amanda completed licensing to be an orofacial myofunctional therapist. She is looking forward to bringing the valley modern myofunctional therapy services.

When Amanda is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also gets a kick out of being active at the gym and playing golf.

Fun Fact: Amanda played collegiate level softball.

Andrea— Marketing Coordinator

Andrea is new to the dental field, coming in with a BA in English Literature and 18 years of bartending and serving experience. Although very different from previous experience, Andrea is loving her new dental family, and the relationships she’s building with the patients. Her growth continues as she’s taking on new tasks as Marketing Coordinator as well as expanding her dental knowledge.

When Andrea is not in the office she is with her two girls: Penny, born in 2015 and Fiona, born in 2019. Her sweet and sassy girls keep her very busy and constantly laughing. They all love to play outside together, take trips to the beach, and have disco light dance parties!

Fun Fact: Andrea gets requested to sing with local bands.

Vanessa - RDAEF2

Since Vanessa was a little girl she enjoyed her trips to the dentist. The dental field is where she always knew she belonged. With 17 years of experience and further education in the field she now has an RDAEF2 license and continues to grow her passion for dentistry and her patients.

When Vanessa isn’t working, she’s spending time with her husband Ricardo, her daughter Lilah born in 2018, and her son Lucas born in 2020. They love to explore the outdoors together as a family among other activities. Just like their mom Vanessa, Lilah and Lucas also love going to the dentist!

Fun Fact: Vanessa was almost a 12lb baby!
